THINQ is pleased to announce a simple and straight forward approach to removing the compliance question marks surrounding the upgrade from JD Edwards World Software to JD Edwards OneWorld. Since the announcement by Larry Ellison from Oracle about Project Fusion, JD Edwards World customers at Life Sciences organizations have been looking for a pathway forwards :

  • Cost of Phase 1 is credited to Phase 2 if the ‘World’ licensee engages THINQ for the validation of ‘EnterpriseOne’
  • Enables potential savings from identification and use of existing validation materials
  • Benefits from THINQ’s validation technology with existing JDE validation framework configuration in TCM & integrated services.
  • Accelerates the migration from ‘World’ to ‘EnterpriseOne’

THINQ’s proposal is comprised of four phases:

Phase 1:  Evaluation of existing and proposed validation.

  • Review existing ‘World’ CSV materials, including SCI (Supporting Computer Infrastructure) materials.
  • Identify re-usability of ‘World’ CSV materials for ‘EnterpriseOne’ CSV
  • Define a high level SOW for ‘EnterpriseOne’ transition at the ‘World’ licensee’s site.
  • Identify key sites, key functionality and key risks for compliance
  • Identify work-ahead solutions for the ‘World’ licensee to commence ahead of the upgrade and CSV project.
  • Present report of proposed CSV migration from ‘World’ to ‘EnterpriseOne’ with:

    1.   Integrated SOW,
    2.   Conceptual Timelines,
    3.   Benefits of ‘World’ to ‘EnterpriseOne’ Upgrade
    4.   Resource and Cost Table of CSV Engagement

Phase 2:  Present & Execute Proposal/Contract Based on Survey Report

Phase 3:  Commence CSV Engagement

Phase 4:  Issue THINQ FVR (Final Validation Report) at Conclusion of Engagement
